Reality Enforcer

A reality enforcer is a person or process that carries out the task of reality enforcement. That is to say they help convince people that the general consensus of reality is the only one of consequence. A reality enforcer would not be above using force to shatter one person?s known reality in order to make them conform to the consensual reality.

A good example would be the AI Agents in the Matrix universe, who made those who became aware of the real world?s existence disappear, thus helping to keep the reality of those who remain, unchallenged. In real life, reality enforcers are any who decry one person?s concept of reality as it differs from their own. This may include anything from sexual orientation to use of VR as a valid reality system.

Perhaps it is poetic that the same concept is now used as the keystone for augmented reality.
